Baling hay at high moisture levels to prevent leaf loss can be risky. That’s where Fresh Cut Plus brand hay preservative can help. By inhibiting the development of molds and detrimental bacteria, this EPA registered Kemin product helps control the risks of high moisture baling and optimize the nutritional quality of your hay crop. Fresh Cut Plus hay preservative allows you to bale sooner without the risk of molding and quality loss due to heating during storage.

Usage tips:

• Harvest hay at up to 25 percent moisture for improved dry matter recovery.
• Apply Fresh Cut Plus hay preservative at the recommended application rate (see specification sheet) with an approved applicator to make sure it is thoroughly mixed in the hay.
• Regularly monitor the heating and microbial stability of your hay.
