By inhibiting the development of molds and other detrimental bacteria, this Kemin product helps optimize fermentation and reduce heating. Silage SAVOR preservative promotes more uniform fermentation to help maintain nutrient value by reducing heating and dry matter loss in alfalfa haylage, corn silage, and high-moisture ensiled ground corn. And its buffered formula is easy on your equipment.

Usage tips:

• Harvest forage at proper moisture and maturity.
• Clean silo before ensiling a new crop.
• Apply Silage SAVOR® liquid preservative at the recommended application rate (see specification sheet) with an approved applicator to make sure it is thoroughly mixed in the forage.
• Cover bunker silos with weighted black plastic immediately after filling.
• Regularly monitor the heating and microbial stability of your silage.
• Follow label directions when using Silage SAVOR preservative.
